It was a six word sentence that I heard when I was teenager at Riverside Camp. My dad was the worship leader and Rev. John Gray was the preacher. I remember this point in one of the sermons.

After the "but" comes the truth.

Ponder over it.

Does what we really think come after the "but"?

    It will work, but...

          I love you, but...

                You can try it, but...

And would it be different for us and for others if we switched how we said it?

      ..., but it will work!

            ..., but I love you!

                  ..., but you can try it!
