day 15 | slice of life challenge

I pulled out my notebook where I've written things the kids have said or done over the years.

I noticed this one tonight.

May 25, 2008
"When we're finally done school, we won't be kids anymore."

Annie was 10 years old and she was in tears.

She seemed to already know that one's childhood is precious.

  1. I love that you have stashed away their precious words. I find that sometimes they fade from memory but if they are archived somewhere then I can even seem to hear it being said. My friend uses a great app to post her kids cute sayings LittleHoots (I don't have an iphone or I would be using it too)

  3. That is so sweet! What a great idea to write down their funny and serious comments. I wish I would have done this when my brain told me it would remember.... my brain let me down. :(
